Target Operating Model Builder Map your IT service responsibilities
  1. Fill in your details at the top of the page. Use your work email — personal inboxes (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com, iCloud etc.) aren't accepted.
  2. Click a tile to cycle through who owns that service. Each click advances the tile: Internal Team → Managed247 → Co-Managed → Other 3rd Party → Not Required → back to Internal Team. Co-Managed means the service is run jointly by the internal team and Managed247, sharing tools and collaborating to deliver it.
  3. Every tile starts as Internal Team. Work across all six columns and set each service to the party that will be responsible for it in your target operating model.
  4. Need something we haven't listed? Click + Add Custom Tile at the bottom of any column to add your own service (up to 4 per category). Custom tiles cycle through the same four states as the standard ones, and appear in your PDF report alongside everything else. Hover a custom tile and click the × in the corner to remove it.
  5. Your progress auto-saves in this browser as you go. If you close the tab and come back later on the same device, you'll be offered the option to resume where you left off.
  6. Need to continue on another device, or share progress with a colleague? Click Save your Progress to download a plain text (.txt) file with your answers — we'll also email you a copy as an attachment. Open the Target Operating Model Builder elsewhere and click Load saved progress to upload the file and pick it back up.
  7. Need to start over? Reset all Tiles to Default returns every tile to the Internal Team starting state — your details aren't touched.
  8. When you're done, click Generate PDF. Your PDF report downloads to your device, and a copy is emailed to your work email address. The first time you save or complete, you'll get a one-time email with a link to verify your address — click it, then come back and click again to receive your PDF by email.
Please use your work email address (no Gmail, Hotmail, etc.).

Short on time? Once you've filled in your name, work email and company, your progress is saved in this browser automatically. You can also click Save your Progress — we'll download a simple text (.txt) file with your answers and email you a copy as an attachment. To pick up later, open the Target Operating Model Builder and click Load saved progress to upload the file.
